Basic Counselling Training for Teachers (BCCT)

Basic Counselling Training for Teachers at Hrudayaram was designed to offer the participants an understanding of counseling, psychiatry and psychotherapy combining theoretical perspectives and practical skills. This training programme was formulated considering Kerala’s unique needs like academic pressure, frustration-tolerance, deficits in social skills, high suicide rates, high need for trained and committed personnel to give counselling and guidance in the schools and colleges.
